The River Bear Yoga course gave me the ability and confidence to deliver yoga and mindfulness. As a trainee teacher I am now able to take it with me anywhere I go so that children get the chance to experience what I have learnt.

This is going to be so useful to boost self esteem in my class. I can also link it into my literacy or topic work. Mental health, mindfulness and promoting self control are all things pupils parents want us to promote. River Bear Yoga will really help me meet the needs of my children and those throughout the school.

Anna Perry, Teacher
Senco, PE Coordinator @Widecombe Primary School.

River Bear yoga delivered on its promises to bring holistic wellbeing and mindfulness to children. From the beginning of the workshop Rachel shared her passion for this important, yet often neglected, need for children to take care of their own minds and bodies. During the workshop, Rachel guided us through the handbook and yoga cards in a way that gave me confidence that I could deliver the materials well. As a primary school teacher I have now had an opportunity to practice some of the games and breathing practices, and I am delighted with how well the children responded to them. The illustrations and characters instantly appealed and they quickly became engaged. Rachel has made it all so user friendly and clear that any adult delivering the syllabus would need no prior yoga experience. I hope that this becomes an integral part to many teachers and child care providers days. If we can work to help children feel well in body and mind and to use these skills as they become adults, then we should all feel our job has been worthwhile. Thank you so much Rachel for filling this much needed gap in the market with your beautiful yoga syllabus.
